HISTORY

In 1989, Rudolf Hopfgartner and Othmar Eberhart founded CONTAX Wirtschaftsprüfungs- & Steuerberatungsgesellschaft m.b.H. This rapidly developed into a prestigious firm and was able to develop teams of experts for specific client needs.
Since the beginning we have remained faithful to our philosophy of offering highest standards of specialist knowledge and know how, and excellence in service. In order to complement our growth we expanded our partnership to include five additional professionals, Brigitte Zimmel, Franco Macoratti, Werner Prenner, Melanie Stalzer and Philipp Kroiss.
In the meantime, we have become active in all sectors typically handled by a firm of Chartered Accountants. Our focus is servicing small and medium-sized companies (SME’s).
For more than 35 years we have been devoted to assisting our clients, so that they can concentrate on what they do best: Focussing on their commercial success!
